By popular demand, here are some frequently asked Search Engine Marketing questions...
- What is search engine marketing?
Search engine marketing is a strategic effort to "persuade" search engines that your website is the absolute best website related to your field (keep in mind however, that a website needs to offer a solution to the real user or else it will not be successful).
- Can't I just fix my meta tags and submit to the search engines?
Search engine marketing is much more than meta tags and submission. Much, much more. A successful search marketing program begins with careful keyword research to make sure you're targeting the terms and phrases that will offer the best opportunity for top rankings, targeted traffic and greater sales. These keywords needs to be placed within related pages of your website in a way that will not negatively affect the user-friendliness of your website in any way. As if that wasn't enough, you now need to optimize your site code in a way that makes it easy for the search engines to classify your content without offering too much information which would be considered search engine spam and can get you booted off the search engines indefinitely. Then there's linking... and no, I don't mean adding your link to link farm directories -- that'll surely let the search engines know you've got a worthless site that no real webmaster would link to. Want more? There's manual submissions (also knowing when NOT to submit), reporting, analysis, maintenance, etc. In short, your website is one of your greatest assets. Get a pro. Hire me ;)
- How can search engine marketing help my business?
I like asking people where their business is and after some bewilderment, I usually get a physical business address or "on the Internet" or some other answer... but never the "right" answer. Your business is supposed to be where your customers go to look for the type of information / product / service you offer. With me managing your search engine marketing, you'll be able to tell people your website is on all the search engines and everywhere else people go to search for what you have to offer!
- What do your search engine marketing solutions cost?
I offer different solutions for different needs. Every program is custom-tailored to your specific needs. I can manage your pay per click campaign for as little as $49 a month, create a complete step-by-step search engine optimization plan starting at $479 or I can design a full-on search marketing campaign covering everything from A-Z which is payable only when I obtain first-page ranking for your targeted keywords.
- How do I request a Search Engine Marketing Program?
Email me (SEO@DoralSEO.com) and in your email, tell me a little about your site and as much as you can about what you're looking to accomplish. Also send me a few competing site URLs. You're going to receive an automated message asking you to confirm that you want to receive information from me. This is to ensure you're a real person and not a spam-bot. Once you confirm, I'll be sure to personally respond to your request. I get quite a few emails so it may take a few hours before I get to respond to your message.
Contact me at SEO@DoralSEO.com (to be certain you're a real user and not a spammer, you'll immediately receive an email asking you to confirm that it really was you that wants to hear from me). You can also use the good old-fashioned telephone and call me at (305) 926-5240. Thank you.
