What is Search Engine Optimization (SEO) anyway?!
SEO is a marketing strategy that focuses on optimizing all of the aspects of a website that affects rankings in the major search engines in order to maximize visitor traffic. Optimization involves researching the most effective keywords and phrases to target while modifying the site to be search engine "friendly" and encourage other website owners and operators to add links on their sites thus ultimately improving popularity.
The most common search engine optimization is on-site SEO or website optimization which bacically means optimization of your page's title tag, anchor text, meta data, etc. In the grand scope of search engine optimization, on-site optimization is just one aspect of an effective search engine marketing campaign.
